Hey! I am Taryn Lee, the one woman show behind Scout.

Scout was started in the kitchen of my rental home in Waukesha, Wisconsin. 

Since then, my family and I have moved twice and settled into our forever home in Sidney, Montana. Right back to where my husband and I grew up (literally, we moved back into the home I grew up in). I work in a small portion of my garage during nap time while raising my three young girls. I love the freedom to be able to be with my family and doing something I love.

My hopes for these candles are that they bring people joy and comfort. That they might spark up memories of special occasions with loved ones or be there to create new ones. For an easy gift that is extremely thoughtful keep a few on hand, purchase a gift card, or choose one of our amazing scents to send to anyone who might need to know you're thinking of them.

I carefully select each vessel I carry with the intention that whomever purchases it will reuse it in their home. Think beautiful counter top storage, decoration, flower vase, a set of drinking glasses, or maybe even a planter for your ever growing plant collection.
